The Blue Sky Art Festival (One of our favorites) is sponsored by the Harrison Art League and features arts and crafts from local artisans and craftsmen, as well as live music, and food vendors. It is held in conjunction with the Arkansas Hot Air Balloon Fest, CASA Kids Fest and Vettes4Warriors Corvette Parade. It is held annually on the downtown square in Harrison, Arkansas.
In 2014 the Blue Sky Art Festival will be held on the same weekend as the Balloon Races (right after Labor Day) and will make for a jam packed weekend of adventure into both art and nature!
The Harrison Art League reports that they are soliciting local artisans and crafters to show their wares. The Ozarks has a wonderful legacy of folk art and up and comers are always exploring new ways to show their artistic side.
